Toscana first opened in 1991. The innovative restaurant captured Wilmington's imagination and began the re-birth of the section of city called Trolley Square.
Through the years and numerous iterations of Toscana, the common thread has been Chef Dan Butler's modern approach to fresh food the use of fresh high quality ingredients. Quoting Guido Tiozzo, one of Chef's mentors at Donatello in Tampa, "Find the best ingredients you can, then try to not mess them up".
Today, Toscana is one of the city's iconic restaurants as well as an award-winning carry-out shop, the area's foremost off-premises caterers and the home of "Trolley Square's Bar for Grown-ups".
We create long-lasting relationships with our guests by going beyond expectations with fresh, expertly prepared food, served by friendly professionals who have an innate desire to please.
